Christmas is now over and have we been enjoying ourselves out here in the freezing area known as home. Dave's parents and my own only live about 4 blocks away total and the rest of my family is mostly within driving distance so we did a LOT of party hopping but I better enjoy that cause we will be doing that for the rest of our lives. For Christmas I was most blessed because I had my husband home in the flesh, others are not so lucky. I realized that I don't ever have to loose him, he is never going away from me and that made my Christmas all the more special. So I cherished him and spoiled him with gun cleaning stuff. He spoiled me with clothes and games and a new tempurpedic pillow. If you don't have one you should really get one cause it's the most amazing thing I have ever used to sleep in my life. On Christmas eve we got all of Dave's family (the ones that were present) to play apples to apples. Seriously was the funnest night so far. Everyone was laughing and Dave said the most memorable quote of the night. ("You haven't seen twilight? Even I think he's tasty!") I guess you had to be there... We have been enjoying just about everything Utah has to offer...except the weather. I wish California's weather would have followed us. We had a major snow storm and school actually closed, I don't remember many snow days in my life but I remember driving my happy ass to school every morning even in the snow...so I was a bit jealous of the snow day.
Dave and I were spoiled by all the family gifts to us, I think his favorites are the gift cards from sportsmans or the Cableas shooting game for Wii. Darwin got a Christmas Dinner of turkey and he was happy with just that.
We have a little over a week left in Utah and we're gonna miss it, but the way things are going we might be back before you know it! Let me explain why. So Dave is supposed to be done with his 4 year term in the Marine Corps in August, and the Marines like all work places do sometimes overly accepted too many new Marines and they want to get some of the guys not staying in out early, so the only rules about that is you have to be accepted to a college. Well say hello to the newest college acceptante for Utah state university. He has done almost everything to get ready to go to school next fall. He's been accepted and talked to the VA (veterans assistance) and we know almost everything we can about using his GI bill and getting going on our new life together. I can't say we both aren't a little afraid of that next step cause it will be a completely new lifestyle, Dave won't be working anymore just full time school. We are deciding to move back in with my Parents for that because it would be hard for me to be making the money, since I want to go to school too we figured we will be living with them to help us out. (I think my mom is pretty excited for that) I will be going to cosmotologist school and finally doing what I have always wanted to do. We have a lot of good things coming our way, just gotta wait to get out of the Marines, once and for all!
I will try and keep this updated more often!!!

I'm the Grinch
So as some of my family knows I am kind of a grump at Christmas. I don't think you can blame me since I have worked in most retail stores every holiday and every Black friday since I turned 16. If anyone has ever been to a black friday sale you know that it's a giant cluster fudge (edit) I KNOW there is no Christmas spirit in the air during that day at any store. To my family for every year I have been a grump I am sorry.
This year I didn't work the Black Friday, and my day was muuuuch better. I spent the day with my Hubby and family and then saw Harry Potter. (Best black friday ever!) My job is being GREAT and letting me take a whole 25 days off of all Christmas season. If that isn't some Christmas spirit (Laced with some American pride) I don't know what is. So this year I am going to take this a whole different route. I am going to enjoy that I have the people I have around me, I am going to laugh and be enjoyable to be around. I won't be in a shopping funk and buy people stuff because I have to, It'll be because I want to. I won't worry about the money. I think I can feel my heart growing 3 sizes this year.

Adjustments
Changed my blog, I kind of like it.
I wanted to say how thankful I am and feel like making a bullet list of things I like and am thankful for.
On another note, I loooooove my blackberry, I love it so much and when my first one kind of broke (the touch pad that moves everything around stopped working) I got another one as soon as possible, then it happened again, and again. I just got my newest one #3 and it has the same exact problem. All I want to do now is throw it into a dumpster, instead I am getting #4 and waiting patiently for my upgrade so I can get anything BUT a blackberry. Anyone have a favorite phone? Tell me what you have and if you like or dislike it.

- My cute, sweet, spicy husband is home with me with all his pieces attached and he is his same goofy self.
- My friends, you girls who were there for me for the same ride well you know who you are and I couldn't appreciate you more. Thank god I had you girls!
- My cute family more importantly my cute mom and mom in law. So lucky to have these crazy people in my life
- My cute ball of fluff named Darwin, he's so fat and obnoxious and I love him so much.
- My AMAZING boss and job. I was very fortunate to get hired so quickly and have such an amazing understanding boss who will let me take 3 whole weeks off for all of Christmas and come back. I am so blessesd
- Along with that amazing job the Big Cheese boss of Albertsons likes me so much he wants me in a different department, most likely Deli, Starbucks, or the bakery. Either of those would be awesome, Good skills that I can take with me when we get out of the Marine Corps for a Job.
- Starbucks Iced Peppermint Mocha with fat free milk and no whipped cream. In fact anything with chocolate and peppermint is my cup of tea lately
- Netflix... enough said

I run out of post titles
Day 12-How you found out about blogger and why you have one
I think almost all of my married Utah friends have a blog, and I wasn't married but I still enjoyed typing, and expressing myself, I got one before I got married... You can view it Here. It's kind of funny to look back on those memories, (for example, I wrote about living with 5 girls plus me, my relationship with Dave and where it started and how it began, and work, and just a lot of random things.) Now that I am a married woman I got a blog for us together to keep our families up to date or just post anything I find interesting, or a complaint of mine, Seriously what don't I blog about?
Day 13-A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
I wouldn't say I am ever really hurt, I get my feelings hurt easily but I don't get to the point where I just cry and feel so hurt in that sense... I usually feel butt-hurt and move on. I know that most probably don't even realize I am hurt by things they have done cause I think I am just overly sensitive and get offended easily... yeah we'll go from there. In other words I won't write a letter to someone who has hurt me recently cause I am so overly sensitive that me saying something about it now they would be blown away that I feel this way over something so stupid. So Sorry won't be doing that one :)
Day 14-'A picture of you and your family
