Not technically but I did graduate Core, which is the beginning of my journey through Hair School. We had a party to graduate through core and we watched movies and ate WAY too much food! Everyone who brought something, it was delicious.
I passed my Written test and Floor test missing only 4 questions on the written test and 1 on the floor test which I say is pretty damn good. I have 2 weeks until I start taking actual clients. I am not scared at all which seems strange, I am actually more worried about keeping up with my worksheets and tests but as long as I stay focused on what is most important (Which is keeping myself in high standards so I make the Deans List and the Honor Roll) Then I should be fine. But truly and honestly I am so ready to start taking clients, I know there will be mistakes but that's what school is for. If you are looking to do something fun or just a trim or some foil work or anything, (I do eyebrows and scalp treatments and deep conditioning too) Please please please come to me because I would LOVE to work with anyone! I want to play with everyone's hair ASAP!
Nothing really new I am sorry I stink at updating my blog. Dave started school, He's just taking 3 classes, (I am not sure credit wise) But he seems to like it, I like that they're paying for everything in his school down to his books, and then we are getting pell grants in cash for us to survive off this semester. He's also saving us LOTS of Cash right now by driving his awesome motorcycle to and from school. It scares me a bit that he is on the freeway a lot driving a motorcycle but he leaves early enough that there isn't much traffic.
My family is amazing, I am sooo grateful for my Mom and Dad for letting us live rent free under their roof. They're AWESOME and I am truly blessed!
Also I am looking forward to the state fair soon! I want some cinnamon roasted almonds so bad it could kill me!! And maybe a funnel cake and some hotdogs and the frenchfry potato tornado thing I got last year... sooooo yummy!
