Checking out

I have a very busy month ahead of me, and I sort of want it to fast forward but it seems to be DRAGGING! I also want it to slow down but then it seems to be FLYING. I guess that's the funny thing about time, it can go as fast or as slow as needed.
I was hoping to leave my job before Easter so I don't really have to do a lot with holidays or big events, since Valentines day really was so big that I kind of just wanted a mellow experience but my Manager is organizing this event that he hopes to be bigger than valentines day. There's going to be a full piano bar, 6 different wine makers signing bottles, a bunch of different wine vendors there talking to customers about their wine, a floral design class by a guy who won 1st prize in a contest in Orange county. I am providing a bunch of different flowers for the designer, I am ordering in twice the ammount of potted plants to decorate AND the prices on all of them are being reduced, I have giant bug balloons that will be blown up for the occasion that will also be for sale. BLAH. Any other job at any other time it would be fun, but a week before my last day of work there. I haven't even put in my two weeks notice and I feel like I have emotionally checked out of work. I get everything done fairly quickly so I have WAY too much time but I love the money so I won't just leave early, so I do almost all the jobs that I usually stretch out for a whole week in one day. I just keep repeating what I have been doing so I am super bored with my job now. Also my manager who is so completely busy with this event hasn't hired anyone to replace me which means NO ONE will know what to do in Floral department. As many times as I tell him how bad of an idea this is he still hasn't done anything. Oh well I guess I should stop caring.
I am however getting increasingly more excited about moving back home.. and by home I mean literally back to MY home in Utah with my Parents. Some may think this is a bad idea moving back in with my parents but my parents are the best thing ever and I am so grateful that my mom and dad are so awesome to help us out while we are both going to school and have no job or income. (Well some income but not a lot.) I am anxious to help them re-do the basement for our living quarters. I am more than anxious to start school and to help Dave with his school. Darwin is anxious to STOP moving so much.
Dave and I are good, we're both just keeping busy with our day to day lives, work in the morning, tv, dinner, work out, then bed. We're boring. But our two year anniversary is coming up so maybe we'll do something fun that I will tell you all about.
